What even is my life lately? Today was not particularly suitable for gardening, so instead I decided to go for a bit of country drive to Clunes, to the Sunday market. I must’ve got the date wrong somehow (it’s second Sunday of the month, right?), because there did not appear to be a market, but I had a nice walk around anyway. I also stopped in for a coffee, but the lady didn’t have change for a fifty so instead I got a $2.20 coffee (all the coins I had).
I also took the back way and came across a nice-looking winery. I was a bit skeptical because I didn’t know if it is okay to go to a winery by yourself, but I decided it didn’t matter too much, and I ended up having a great chat with the guys who run the place - a father and son (Norm and Owen). They also had some delicious wines and I learned a lot, so I somehow spent $100 on three bottles of wine…. a chardonnay, a shiraz, and a pinot noir. I just have to make sure these ones don’t accidentally get consumed when I’ve already had a bit to drink and run out of cheaper wine (like what happened last time I had a dinner party).
And tonight I’m going to see Gravity at the cinema! The first time I’ve actually been the instigator in a trip to the cinema in years, but I keep hearing interesting things about it.
